Yesterday, Sunday, one of my favorite designers – Zac Posen – showed his Collection for Fall/Winter 2013/14 at New York’s Fashion Week and I won’t hold you back from seeing his Highlights for the next season. I also really liked some of the other collections shown yesterday, so here is my daily Highlight-Post as usual:
DIANE VON FURSTENBERG
The american Designer took a new take on her famous wrap dress and gave it a youthful, hippie-esque new edge with suede leather in browns and reds. The entire Collection was very 70s with a ladylike elegance to it in bright colors, combined with big fat fur collars (didn’t we see that already at Carmen Marco Volvo?).
Extreme-Cropped Sweaters with Oversized Sleeves over Blouses, Dandy-esque Suits for Women and Dress-like Coats combined with Combat Boots: Yohji Yamamoto brings us functional Clothing for Fall and Winter 2013/14, mostly in black with a slight highlight of Lime-Green (told you: Trendcolor!) and bright orange.
Capes, Capes, Capes: Zac Posen gives us all kinds of phenomenal ways to wear this fancy Winter-Attire! No matter if Satin or Leather, bright orange or nude: Capes are all over his Collection for Fall and Winter. Combined with ladylike Pencilskirts, Blouses and Dresses, that remind me a lot of Marc Jacobs last Fall-Collection for Louis Vuitton (you know, the one with the big hats and the train on the runway).
