Designer to Watch: Magdalena Adriane

A few weeks ago, I was in Vienna to attend the opening of Summer of Fashion in the Museumsquartier. I also got invited to participate in a Fashion Talk about the future of fashion in Austria. This is where I met the aspiring young designer Magdalena Adriane. Her beautiful gowns and evening wear catched my eye immediately. It is inspiring to watch such a young person creating those timeless styles, as nowadays most of the new faces in fashion only focus on the future trends.

Magdalena Adriane though, is not completely new to the industry: After completing her studies at the Vienna Master Class for Fashion she did an Internship at the House of Roberto Cavalli in Florenz along with studies at the Master Arte della Moda at the Academia Italiana. In 2009 she decided to found her own Label Magdalena Adriane. Her Designs are feminin, playful and elegant and consist of the finest materials like silk and satin.

Magdalena already showed her collections at the fashion weeks of New York, Berlin and Paris and will now also present her latest work at the fashion week in vienna in November. Her goal is to create timeless, modern Looks, available and wearable for every Woman. That is why she takes her time, to talk to each and every customer she has, to design individual styles, that fit every personality.

See Magdalena Adriane’s latest collection below. My personal favourite is the blue gown with the feathered straps.
